CANOEING

A day in a canoe drifting down the river is one of our favourite things to do. There are many different options for canoeing in the region, the closest is at Ribérac. There is also canoeing around the picturesque Roman towns of Brantôme and Bourdeilles.
Canoe and equipment hire is reasonably priced and so for a day’s entertainment is good value as well. There are plenty of places along the routes where you can pull your canoe over to the river bank for a picnic, a paddle or to sunbathe.
